My Audience --- NEA 4

Audience
Audiences can be categorised into:
- mass audiences
- niche audiences
- Working sector
- Age 
- Gender

I think it is good that Media Producers categorise audience, so that they know what people want to see and how many people would watch or read it. If they didn't do this then the producers could loose money for making something that people don't like. It is categorised by age so that they know what time to put on certain shows (The Watershed).

In my chosen brief, the audience is 10 - 13 year olds about some sort of educational magazine.

I think that in my brief is targeted at this age so that the audience would find it interesting and not boring or they don't understand. This means that i will have to ad things that people could relate to about the age that they are. It is specifically this age so that people will understand what i am writing about and how it could impact them if it is an educational magazine.


My results on my survey tell me that i will create a football magazine featuring a tutorial and a catchy front cover. Long shots will be used on the front cover.
